The Northeast Johnson County Chamber offers many opportunities for its members to connect and network with each other. At these events, members meet with owners and employees of other area businesses. Members build strong relationships and benefit from referrals.

 

“We’re Talkin’ Tuesday”

The Chamber’s “We’re Talkin’ Tuesday” Networking Group is held the first and third Tuesday of each month, at8:00 a.m.at the Mainstreet Credit Union located at 6025 Lamar inMission. This fun, interactive networking experience is a great place to connect with other business owners. “We’re Talkin’ Tuesday” is one of the Chamber’s most popular events. Upcoming Dates: November 1, November 15, December 6, and December 20

 

Business After Hours

Business After Hours are excellent marketing tools for the hosts of the event and great networking opportunities for the guests who attend. They provide Chamber members an opportunity to showcase their businesses’ environment and the products and services they offer. These relaxed networking events are held each month at a different member business after normal business hours.

 

Coffee and Conversation

NEJC Chamber members get together for coffee and networking at different Chamber member businesses each month. These events are held in the morning and are sponsored by members looking for an interesting and effective way to get new people in the doors of their business.

 

 

Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Opening Ceremonies

Ribbon Cuttings and grand opening ceremonies provide opportunities for new members to highlight their business and for the Chamber to welcome them to the community.

 

 

Lunch & Learn Seminars

Lunch & Learn Seminars are one of the Chamber’s educational programs featuring speakers from theKansas Cityarea. Topics for the Lunch & Learn programs range from public policy and economic development, to business retention and leadership development.

 

Business Education Seminars

Business Education Seminars provide educational opportunities for members to develop skills and acquire the resources they need to build and sustain growth. Past topics for the seminars have included: social media, email marketing and maximizing business results.

 

The Member Advantage

The Member Advantage is an opportunity for new members and those who are searching for a way to get involved to learn more about membership benefits. Attendees will meet other new members, ambassadors and Chamber staff. Most importantly, attendees will learn how to maximize their investment. The Member Advantage is held on a quarterly basis.

 

Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner is the Chamber’s premier event each year. It is a gala, black-tie optional dinner during which Chamber members and guests celebrate the organization’s success in the past year, look at the plans for the future and recognize the achievements of others.

 

 

Golf Classic

The NEJC Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic features 144 players from over 50 companies in this highly-acclaimed 18-hole golf tournament. There are many sponsorships available. The Golf Classic is held in June each year.
